Not to minimize AIDS and malaria relief or anything like that but in order to lift a country out of poverty, the foundation has to be built around clean water. We put wells in for $15,500. It provides water to 15,000+ people forever. That $1 provides clean water to that person, his family, his children's family, his children's chidlren's family etc. Amazing how far money can go in poor countries.
